This beautiful showstopper of a ring features a fiery and multicolour changing oval opal cabochon on an 18ct gold shank.  When the stone catches the light you can see a real kaleidoscope of colors; sparks of purple, green and blue  lit by a bright orange and pink fire from every angle. This very generously sized opal measures approximately 9mm x 7mm and sits on a platinum claw setting, surrounded by 10 sparkling diamonds.

This fabulous Art Deco ring weighs 3.2g, and is currently a UK size O (US size 7 1/4) but it could be re-sized up or down.

This is a stunner of a ring, and would be a great addition to any collection. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to wear.

Opal is the birthstone for the month of October ... The name opal is thought to be derived from the Sanskrit upala, meaning “precious stone,” and later the Greek derivative “Opallios,” meaning “to see a change of color.”
Opals have long been thought to encourage freedom, independence and creativity.
