Vintage, 9ct Gold Rope Twist Chain Necklace

Here is a wonderful vintage 9ct gold rope twist chain, hallmarked for 9ct gold on its clasp and end disk.

The chain has lovely rope twist links and measures 24 inches long.  The links have a height of 3mm.

The chain, which looks much heavier than it is weighs a comfortable 4.9g.  It is in fabulous condition with a secure clasp. When worn, the light catches the chain beautifully and gives off a golden sparkle.

This type of classic chain was popular  well into the Art Deco period.  It has become very popular again today, and can be worn alone as a statement piece, or as a layering peice in conjunction with other necklaces and chains
