Vintage, 9ct Gold Moonstone and Diamond Ring

This is a simply exquisite vintage moonstone and diamond ring.  Set on an 18ct gold band, this stunning cabachon moonstone glows a wonderful blue/grey colour as it sits high amidst two bright and lively round cut diamonds.  The moonstone displays asterism under the light, projecting a 4 rayed star. 

This ring bears no hallmarks, but I would date it to the late 1940s, early 1950s.  It weighs 6.04g  and is a UK size P, which is a US size 8 but it could be re-sized by your jeweller.

About Moonstones
