Vintage, 16 inch, 9ct Gold Cleopatra Graduating Fringe Necklace (6.52g)

This wonderful vintage 'Cleopatra' necklace is crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a secure spring ring clasp. It is marked for 9ct Gold on its clasp, and I would date it to the 1960s, when this type of necklace became popular following a peak in the popularity of Egyptian style fashion at that time. 

Still very wearable today, this striking necklace weighs 6.52g and measures a perfect 16 inches.  It sits extremely comfortably around the neck and its graduating, slightly matt leaves measure between 1.1cm wide at its widest point, and 2mm wide at its thinnest point around the back of the chain.
