Vintage, 15ct Gold, Emerald and Diamond Engagement Ring

This wonderful Art Deco Ring features a large bezel-set square cut emerald, bordered by 29 twinkling old cut diamonds in a circular arrangement which brings a softness to this ring, and removes the hard edges of the inner square. The head of the ring measures 12mm, giving this ring great finger coverage as well as an incredible all round sparkle.

The band is not marked, probably due to a re-size at some point in the ring's life (of which there is evidence), but being made of 15ct gold, you have reassurance that it was crafted before 1932, when 15ct gold was replaced by 14ct Gold. The band measures a UK size K, which is a US size 5 1/4. It weighs 4.31g

This is such a fabulous antique style that would work equally well as a timeless engagement ring as it would a statement ring to be worn on that special occasion.

Emeralds have long been known as the symbol of truth and love, so this design has traditionally worked very well as an engagement ring.
