This stunning, and rather unusual vintage lucky ladybird slider charm is crafted from 14ct Gold. It features a red and black enamelled lady bug/lady bird, which represents luck and fortune for the wearer. The little ladybird carries within it a sliding panel on its base, which, when revealed says: “Viel Gluck” (Good Luck) I've never seen a similar charm/pendant like this before so i was very pleased to find it.
This charm measures 11mm x 14mm and weighs 1.2g. It's in superb and perfect condition with all the enamel intact. Its marked for 14ct Gold and I would suspect it dates from the 1950s.
