Victorian, Antique, Solid Silver Forget-Me-Not Padlock clasp with Carnelian

Set in solid silver, this wonderful Victorian padlock clasp is in full working order.

It features a beautifully engraved face detailing a forget me not flower amongst leaves, and on its reverse, a vibrant orange carnelian set into the heart.

This padlock is in splendid condition for its age, with only light surface marks, and a small nip from the carnelian on the top left corner (see picture). It is a good weight of 3.11g and it measures 8mm x 3.1mm.

This padlock pendant's versitility means you can either slip it onto a split ring or thread a fine chain through its centre, to wear it as a pendant. The padlock closes firmly so could also be used as a secure clasp for a charm or curb link bracelet.
