Vintage 18ct Gold, Diamond and Enamel, 'Prince of Wales Feathers' Ring

Crafted from 18ct Gold, this wonderful ring features a blue enamel face bordered by white enamel stations.  In the centre are 'Prince Charles Feathers';  the historic heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales, which consists of three white ostrich feathers emerging from a gold crown.  The emblem represents strength, honour, tradition, and service.   

The band has lovely bobble/beads all the way round it, providing some unique texture. 

I think the face of this ring probably began its life as a cufflink or stick pin, but it has been sympathetically re-modelled as a ring.  The 18ct Gold band is a UK size M 1/2, which is a US size 6 3/4. It weighs 2.75g.
