This is a very pretty and rather unusual locket.  Crafted from 9ct gold, it features some lovely engraving to its front and back, and a large heart on its front. 
 
This locket measures 3.1cm x 2.4cm, not including the bale and it weighs a healthy 4.21g.  It is empty inside, with no frames or covers.  It is marked for 9ct Gold front and back on its reverse.   To be more specific; this means that the front and back are curated in 9ct gold but there is a metal frame on the inside to keep the locket strong.
