This splendid vintage snake necklace is a rare, and highly sought after item. Crafted in solid Sterling Silver, it measures 15 inches long around the neck, 5mm wide and features a beautifully engraved snake head and tail clasp.  The chain itself is filled with bezel set paste stones - beautifully sparkly and bright. 

There are no marks on the snake, but it has been tested for sterling silver, and i would date it to the 1930s.

This is an absolute joy to wear. It is comfortable around the neck, substantial enough to wear alone, and has so much character; a real stand out piece
