    This stunning original Victorian agate padlock is set in 9ct Gold, and dates back to the 1870s.

    The Padlock opens with a safety catch and closes securely. It measures 3cm x 2cm and weighs 4.63g.  Its locket at its rear has been cleaned and is currently empty, ready for your own picture or momento.

    It was Queen Victoria who helped make Scottish jewellery popular in the 1800s. After spending time at her castle in Balmoral, she brought back with her souvenirs and jewellery, which quickly caught on and were copied.
