Rare, Hallmarked, Antique 15 inch, 15ct Gold Trombone Link Chain with T bar, Bolt Ring and Dog Clip

This beautiful antique 15ct gold Trombone link chain dates from the early 1900s.  It has a dog clip and bolt ring clasp closure mechanism and feaures a sought after floating a T bar which hangs 2cm from the chain. It also features an additional bolt ring from which pendants or charms can be held.

The chain is hallmarked for 15ct Gold on its T-bar, dog clip, jump ring, bolt ring and every link.   Its is also marked for its makers mark, M&M on its dog clip and T bar.

The 15ct yellow gold of this chain is buttery and smooth  and it has a gorgeous patina which sparkles brightly as it catches the light.  It measures a lovely length of 15 inches and the trombone links are 5mm wide. It weighs a comfortable 36.29g.

Solid gold chains have been a fashion staple for over a century, and are highly sought after.  Their versitility means they can be worn alone, in a stack with longer or shorter chains, or with pendants /charms added from their bolt ring.  The floating T bar adds another dimention to the piece.
