Incredible, Antique, Mid-Victorian, 15ct Gold Turquoise Bow, Heart and Cross Brooch/Pin

This Victorian brooch is nothing short of magnificent!

Crafted from solid 15ct Gold (not marked but tested) it features (approximately!) 67 turquoise cabochons;  39 on its bow, 16 on its heart and 12 on its cross. The pins intricately decorated body is folded into a large and wonderfully detailed bow from which hangs a heart and from the bottom of this, a cross. 

In jewellery speak, this bow  symbolised a loving bond, such as marriage, the heart; love, and the cross.

This unique heirloom measures 2.5cm x 4.5cm and it weighs a total of 7.56g. It remains in immaculate condition, and is ready to wear.
