This beautiful antique long guard chain dates to the late 19th Century. Crafted from 9ct gold, it features a stunning faceted belcher links all the way round, which catch the light beautifully. The gold is buttery and bright with a really wonderful patina and the links are secure and free of dinks.

Solid gold long guards have been a fashion staple for over a century, and at this long length, they are getting rarer, and are highly sought after. Their versitility means they can be worn alone, wrapped once, twice or even thrice around the neck, and even in a stack with longer or shorter chains.
