FINAL PAYMENT Antique, Sterling Silver, Hallmarked Jewellery Box, Hallmarked London, 1924

This stunning multi ring /pendant/ jewellery box is a beautiful example from the beginning of the Art Deco Era, the 1920s.

Crafted from a solid sterling silver with a green velvet interior, it has 6 ring slots, and a larger area for pendants, earrings and brooches etc. It is fully hallmarked on its lid and side for Sterling Silver and the year 1924. A monogram of the letters 'MCM' or possibly 'CM' sits at the centre of the box lid.

The box is in extremely good condition for its 100 years, with just a few signs of wear here and there. The inside still bears its beautiful original emerald green interior, with just a little fading/scuffing of the velvet within the ring storage area. The inside roof is also velvet lined and there are some marks of wear on it.

The box measures 18cm long, 9cm wide and 5cm high. It weighs 582g.

There is no key to lock this box.
