Vintage, 9ct Rose Gold Bezel Set Moonstone Pendant

This dreamy, deep cabochon monstone has the most magical adularescence and a changing hue from a pale blue/grey to a dusky darker blue.

Measuring 13mm x 10mm. with a depth of 8mm, the moonstone is approximately 3 carats and weighs 1.68g. This moonstone was once one half of a pair of earrings, which had backs which needed replacing. When i was having the backs repaired i thought how pretty these wonderful gemstones would look as pendants, so i simply added a bale on each and it became what you see here!
