Chunky, Vintage, 18ct Gold Emerald and Diamond Half Hoop Ring, 1970s, 8.72g

This is a really fabulous, emerald and diamond ring.   Crafted in 18ct Gold (markd 750 on the inside of its band), this ring comprises four bright square grass green emeralds, sandwiched between three princess cut diamonds.  The gems are all firmly set and the wide gallery allows for a generous spalsh of colour as the gemstones catch the light.

This would be a perfect engagement ring - sturdy, solid and safe to wear every day.   It also works as a statement ring giving big and bold vibes! Its substantial band is currently a UK size O 1/2, which is a US size 7 1/2, but it could be re-sized.  It weighs a hefty 8.72g!

Emeralds have long a symbol of spiritual awareness, protection, love, and wisdom. Ancient Romans and Greeks believed it to be the representative of the Goddess Venus. Hence, they perceived this gemstone as a conveyor of hope and love.
