These are a really super pair of Art Deco, (Essex Crystal style) Sailing Boat Cufflinks.

Crafted from Gilt Metal (and marked as such), they feature hand painted sailing boats travelling accross the sea under a domed glass cover, giving an Essex Crystal / 3D effect.  They are a good size, measuring 1.4cm and they weigh 5.6g.

Dating to the late 1920s, the gilt meal backs show their age (see pictures) with plenty of wear, but the fronts, which are the only parts on show when worn are in pristine condition and look fantastic.
