Unique, 18ct Gold Belle Epoque Enamel and Pearl Chandelier Pendant

I think this wonderful pendant probably started life out as an earring, but a bale has been added on its top and it can now be worn  as a shimmering pendant. 

It has the most incredible green and black enamel 'skin' with the most wonderful gold work netting over the top of it.  The pendant is made up of two layers, a little like a chandelier, and a double set of pearls hang from each 'section' 

The gold has been tested for 18ct Gold and i would date it to the late 1800s and very likely with French origins.   It weighs 6.54g.
