Art Deco (1930s) Platinum Aquamarine and Diamond Ring

This wonderful, and ultra-stylish Art Deco Ring derives from the 1930s.
Crafted in Platinum, it features a large (9mm x 6mm) Aquamarine with a bezel set yellow tinged diamond on each side.

Aquamarines measure 7.5-8 on the Mohs scale, so are pretty durable gems, if treated with care. This one, with its timeless art deco style would be a wonderful choice for an engagement ring.

The gallery is nice and symmetrical and ever so slightly raised to give the gems a lift to catch the light. The ring sits comfortably, and the very good sized gems provide excellent finger coverage.

This ring is currently a UK size O (US size 7 1/4 but it could be re-sized within reason by your local jeweller. It weighs 3.58g
