Antique, Victorian, Solid Silver and 9ct Gold, Aesthetic Movement Sweetheart Bird locket

This Victorian aesthetic movement locket is a mesmerising and romantic peice of sweetheart jewellery. Rich in charm and history, it is crafted from solid silver, and features a beautiful waterside scene on its front. Amongst detailed engraving of trees, a bird (possibly a tropical bird) is depicted sitting on a perch over water, in slightly raised 9ct rose gold. Just behind it, is a 9ct yellow gold butterfly sits on a flower.

The locket weighs 10.1g and has been cleaned. It is in good condition and its insides are completely empty, so two new rims and glass/plastic covers will be required before photos can be added to its inside.
