Antique, Victorian 9ct Gold Engraved Floral Band, 9ct Gold, Birmingham and 1898

This is such a pretty and unusual antique ring. Crafted in 9ct gold and engraved with a unique floral twist design, this Victorian piece is fully and clearly hallmarked for 9ct Gold, Birmingham and the year, 1898.

I believe this ring was made witih love in mind, as it is crafted from two bands, joining together, one is decorated with floral engravings, and one plain. This gives the ring some fabulous texture and a unique look.

Its currently a UK size Q 1/2, which is US size 8 1/2. It weighs 5.14g and it has been lightly cleaned and ready to wear.

You can see in the pictures, that the ring has had a shank repair following a re-sizing, but the hallmarks have been carefully retained, so they can still be read.
