Antique, Victorian, 18ct Gold, Enamel Snake, Forget-me-Not Diamond Pendant

This is fabulous and rare victorian snake pendant features a blood red enamel background, a rose cut diamond 'forget me not' flower and a snake hanging over the top of the pendant ready to strike.  It is  a truly incredible piece!

There is so much romantic symbolism in this piece; the snake signifies everlasting love;  the blood red enamel as the colour of love, and the rose cut diamond forget me not flower, the diamonds of which are incredibly lively, is self explanitory.

This very rare, and difficult to find antique piece is not hallmarked, but has been tested for 18ct Gold.   It measures 2.5cm x 1.9cm and weighs 7.04g.
