Antique, (Victorian) 15ct Gold, Diamond Horse Shoe Ring

This is a simply beautiful 15ct gold antique diamond horse shoe ring. Featuring 13 very lively diamonds, on an 18ct Gold band, this diamond was made to bring luck and good fortune to the wearer.

The horseshoe measures approximately 1.1cm x 1.1cm and weighs 2.2g. Currently sized as a UK M 1/2 (US size 6 1/2) but could be adjusted by your local jeweller.

The ring is in excellent condition. It does not retain its original hallmarks, probably due to a historical re-size, but is likely to have origianted in the early 1900s when horseshoe were a particularly popular motif in Victorian jewellery.
