Antique, Sterling Silver, Jewellery / Trinket Box witih Cherubs, Hallmarked Birmingham, 1917

This stunning trinket/ jewellery box is a beautiful antique example.  Featuring a group of cherubs, it is fully hallmarked for Sterling Silver, Birmingham and the year 1917, just before the end of the first world war. 
 
The box is in extremely good condition for its 100+ years, with just a few signs of wear here and there.  It could be polished and cleaned up some more, but so many people like the age patina, that i have left it as is, as aside from a light surface clean. 

The box measures 5cm long, 5.2cm wide and weighs 27.16g.  It serves as an excellent trinket or jewellery box.
