Vintage, Art Deco (1930s), 18ct Gold, Platinum, Emerald and Diamond Square Ring.

This wonderful Art Deco Ring features a large bezel set square grass-green emerald, bordered by 16 twinkling bezel set diamonds in platinum. The head of the ring measures 1.1cm x 1.1cm giving great finger coverage as well as an incredible all round sparkle.

The band's hallmarked has been rubbed, but you can just about make out the 'plat'. The band measures a UK size P 1/2, which is a US size 7 3/4 and it weighs 3.64g.

This is such a fabulous antique style that would work equally well as a timeless engagement ring as it would a statement ring to be worn on that special occasion.

Emeralds have long been known as the symbol of truth and love, so this design has traditionally worked very well as an engagement ring. Indeed, in ancient times, the emerald was considered to be the stone of love, its green color representing vitality and new beginnings.
