Antique, 9ct Rose Gold, Floral, 'Cling to Thee', Bangle, Hallmarked, Birmingham, 1901

This is a stunning and rather unique 9ct Rosy Gold, Antique bangle. Crafted from Solid 9ct Gold, this bangle is marked for its makers initials: EME, and Birmingham, 1901 on its inside. There is also a 9ct mark on the outside on the bangle. It features wonderful engraving of ivy leaves on its face, which in antique jewellery speak, symbolised the romantic phrase 'Cling to thee' - an example of sweetheart jewellery at its best.

This hinged bangle which closes and holds securely (but has a safety chain), would fit a 6-7 inch wrist and has a slightly graduated in width with a 6mm width on its face, and 3.5mm width at the back. It weighs a healthy and comfortable 6g.

This is a really fabulous piece of history would make a great statement on it's own or as part of a wrist stack! It remains in excellent condition, with, despite its 100+ years, only light signs of use.
