This fabulous horse shoe bracelet remains in exquisite condition. Hallmarked on its heart padlock for 9ct Gold, Birmingham, and the year 1902, it features 9 lucky horse shoes, secured by a solid gold heart padlock clasp and safety chain. The heart padlock may have been added later, but it matches the gold of the horse shoes perfectly.

This stunning bracelet measures 7 inches long and each horse shoe is 1.1cm wide. It weighs 12.87g

Horse shoes have been regarded as good luck charms since as far back as the 9th century, and they still are thought of as such today. But their use in jewellery rose in Victorian times when equestrian persuits became popular.
