Antique, 15ct Gold, Moss Agate Ring with Ruby Border

This stunning Art Deco moss agate ring is set in 15ct Gold, and dates back to the 1920s. 
It features some a beautiful Moss Agate (Sometimes referred to as Dendritic Moss Agate) bordered by 24 well matched, bright rubies

This ring is currently a UK size J, which is a US size 5 and it weighs 3.47g.  Although the ring is not hallmarked (hallmarking only became a legal requirement in 1973) it is engraved with the date May 16th 1922, which means the ring must have been made before then. 

Dendritic Moss Agate has long been thought to bring the wearer closer to mother earth, a chalcedony crystal of balance and stability.
