Antique, 9ct Gold Gate Bracelet with decorated Heart Padlock

This is such a sweet gate bracelet, and one of the most beautiful i've ever come accross.  Crafted from 9ct gold, and in wonderful condition,  it features a 4 bar 'gate', safety chain, and a beautifully engraved heart padlock.  
 
All four bars of the bracelet are in crisp condition with no dents or dings.    The beautifully hand chased heart padlock has intracate floral engraving on both sides  on its reverse side, it displays a full hallmark for 9ct Gold,  and its makers mark, "B&S."   Its original safety chain remains in perfect working order and keeps these special golden links securely attached around your wrist.  
 
This bracelet is a good size, at 7 inches and it weighs a comfortable 9.24g.

The fashion for these bracelets has continued from Victorian times right through to the 21st Century where they remain a classic and iconic piece for many women today.
