This is an incredibly beautiful Victorian memorial ring, crafted in 9ct Gold. It features striking black enamel, and wondeful gold and seed pearl decoration depicting two ivy leaves, one on each ide of a central double pearl display.
The 9ct gold band is clearly hallmarked for 9ct gold, and Chester.
This wonderful ring is currently a UK size M which is a US size 6 1/2 and it weighs 2.85g.
This ring is in excellent antique condition, with what appear to be its original pearls and only minor signs of wear to the band, commensurate with age and use. The enamel remains in wonderful condition and i can see no chips or damage under a loupe.
