Antique, 18ct Gold Lovers Knot Ring with Diamond, Hallmarked 18ct Gold, London and 1918

I have never seen a lovers knot quite like this one.. Crafted from 18ct Gold, it features a sparkling  diamond at its centre of the ring, and both engraved and plain buttery gold throughout the folds of the knot, which creates some lovely texture.   The diamond at the centre of the ring is bordered by  beautiful star detail.

This ring gives great finger coverage, sits flat on the finger, and is safe for everyday wear.

This romantic ring remains in excellent condition and the three sparkling diamond is set securely.  It is hallmarked for 18ct Gold, London and the year 1918.  It is a UK size M 1/2, which is a US size 6 1/2, and it weighs a very healthy 4.31g.

Antique lover's knot rings date back to the early 20th century and as they become rarer, they are very sought after.  They are steeped in sentimentality with the knot symbolising two people entwined for eternity; hence why they are often given as romantic tokens or as eternity rings.
