Antique, 18ct Gold Lovers Knot Ring with Diamond, Hallmarked 18ct Gold, Birmingham and 1896

Crafted from 18ct Gold, this wonderful, and quite unique knot ring holds a bezel set sparkling old cut diamond at its centre. Beautiful gold work in the form of swirls, knots and balls cover the rest of the ring. 

The decoration is spread out onto the shoulders of this ring, giving really good finger coverage. Its also a comfortable ring, sitting pretty flat on the finger, and is safe for everyday wear.

This romantic ring remains in excellent condition and the three sparkling diamond is set securely. It is hallmarked for 18ct Gold, Birmingham and the Victorian year 1896. It is a UK size O 1/2, which is a US size 7 1/2, and it weighs 2.74g.

Antique lover's knot rings date back to the early 20th century and as they become rarer, they are very sought after. They are steeped in sentimentality with the knot symbolising two people entwined for eternity; hence why they are often given as romantic tokens or as eternity rings.
