Antique 18ct Gold Diamond Cluster Ring, Hallmarked 18ct gold, Birmingham and 1903

Here is a really spectacular antique diamond cluster ring.  It has some of the most fantastic old cut diamonds i have ever seen - each one uniquely cut by hand and catching the light magnificently.   The gallery features a central old cut diamond surrounded by 6 more very lively diamonds of a slightly smaller size, totalling an estimated carat weight of 0.40ct.   The ring head measures approximately 8mm x 8mm and it weighs a healthy 4.06g.    

The overall setting, along with a border of decorative pierced holes, gives an illusion of a flower motif, with diamonds glistening from all angles.  The ring sits low on the finger on a clean 18ct gold band with decorative shoulders. This is a very comfortable ring to wear and it is hardy and robust enough to be worn every day.

The ring is a UK size Q 1/2 (US size 8 1/2) but it could be re-sized up or down within reason.   

The ring has been lightly cleaned and is ready to wear.  It is a fabulous statement ring, or would be a wonderful antique engagement ring for that someone special!
