Antique, 18ct Gold, 5 stone, Old Cut Diamond Ring, Hallmarked 18ct Gold. (2.43g)

This is a simply beautiful, Antique 18ct gold, 5 diamond ring. It is hallmarked for 18ct gold, but the assay mark and the date mark has been rubbed. However, given the style of this ring and the type of diamonds used, I would date it to the later 1800s, early 1900s.

Comprising 5 lively old cut diamonds in kite shaped settings, this ring is durable and robust, a perfect ring for everyday wear. It would also make a wonderful engagement ring.

The ring is a currently size UK O 1/2 (USA Size 7 1/2) but it has a solid shank and could be resized up or down within reason. It measures 6mm at the widest point of the band, and 2mm at the thinnest point of the band right at the back.

This stunning piece of history remains in fabulous condition, has been lightly cleaned and is ready to wear!
