Antique, 15ct Gold Pearl Crescent Moon and Diamond Star Pendant

This is a beautiful antique 15ct Gold Pearl Crescent Pendant with Diamond star. It features 36 creamy white seed pearls ascending in size and arranged in two rows, from the top of which hangs a gold star with an old cut diamond centre. All in all, this makes a superb antique celestial pendant!

Crescent moons have always carried a lot of symbolism, and in the Victorian age, they were representative of the changing of the seasons in one's life. They were often worn after marriage or after a new addition to the family. Stars, which have featured on jewellery for hundreds of years, are known for suymbolising for hope, guidance, and inspiration.
