Antique, 15ct Gold, Etruscan Revival Turquoise Pendant / Brooch

This is a stunningly beautiful, and very special pendant.  Crafted in a buttery, 15ct Gold (not marked but tested), it features a wonderful turquoise cluster decoration with a rose cut diamond in a star setting at its centre.  Beautiful and ornate gold work continues around the edges of the pendant interspaced with further pops of turquoise. 

This marvellous piece has a bale so that it can be worn as a pendant, as well as its original brooch on its reverse.   

Measuring approximately 2.5cm in diameter and weighing 5.17g, this is a truly unique piece of jewellery.  It is not hallmarked, but has been machine tested for 15ct Gold, and given its design, it would date it to the Etruscan Revival era, during the late 1800s.
