15ct Gold, Double Heart Ring. Hallmarked, Birmingham, 15ct Gold and 1924

This is a stunning antique sweetheart ring.   Crafted in a wonderful, buttery 15ct gold, it features two entwined hearts (which symbolise the joining of two lovers), one comprising  8 turquoise stones, and the other, 10 seed pearls.  

This very pretty ring measures 1.5cm across and 8mm long, providing fantastic finger coverage and making a real statement!   The 15ct gold  shank which is re-sizable, is currently a UK size Q (US size 8 1/2).  It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 15ct Gold and the year 1924, making this ring 98 years old!

This fabulous ring is in excellent condition and is ready to wear.  

NB: Great care should always be taken when wearing antique and vintage jewellery and rings containing seed pearls in particular should be removed before contact with water, oils and creams
