This is a beautiful and rare 9ct gold lucky bean charm, features a beautifull bezel set garnet.  Measuring approximately 1.7cm long by 1cm wide, it weighs 1.13g. 

The reverse of the bean is fully hallmarked for 9ct Gold, Chester and the year 1901, making it 124 years old! 

Kidney beans have long been synonymous with luck, but have also been known to symbolise growth and new beginnings. 

This wonderful antique charm looks stunning on a chain around the neck or attached to a charm bracelet.
