18ct Gold, Victorian, Starburst Solitaire Ring, Hallmarked 18ct Gold, Birmingham, 1898

This is an absolutely fabulous antique gypsy starburst ring. It has a lovely solid tapered shank of buttery 18ct gold, and the gallery features a lovely, central sparkling old cut diamond, of approx 0.20 points, framed in a starburst setting.

This exceptional antique ring, which was created at the end of the Victorian Era, remains in excellent condition and is complete with a full set of crisp hallmarks, for 18ct gold, Birmingham and the year 1898. It is currently a UK size N (US size 6 3/4) and it weighs a healthy 3.71g. The widest point of the ring's face measures approximately 8mm and the thinnest side of the band, at the very back, measures 3mm.

This is a superb unisex ring, which carries with it over 100 years of history. It would make a stunning sweetheart/enagement ring, or a perfect addition to your antique jewellery collection.
