18ct Gold, Antique, Old Mine Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Hallmarked 18ct Gold

This superb  and one of a kind kite cluster ring features 9 of the most wonderful wonky old mine cut diamonds i have ever come across, totalling an estimated 1.2ct.   The diamonds are set in three rows of three, with the largest at the centre, and arranged in a symmetrical kite shape.

This unique ring has an ornately decorated gallery which lifts the face towards the light, and allows the diamonds to catch that light from every possible angle.  

The 18ct gold band is hallmarked for 18ct Gold, and given its old mine cut diamonds, i would have to date it to pre-1920s.  Under a loupe, tiny solder marks, provide evidence of either a previous re-size, or shank repair, but this cannot be noticed without the use of a loupe, and certainly cant be seen when the ring is worn. 

The face of this stunning ring measures 1.5cm x 1.5cm and it weighs a healthy 4g.   It is currently a (re-sizable) UK size M, which is a US size 6 1/4.
