15ct Gold, Turqoise and Seed Pearl Detailed Locket backed Pendant

This is a simply phenomenal locket backed pendant.  Crafted in 15ct Gold, it features a stunning turquoise cross set within a musical lyre, outlined beautifully by lustrous seed pearls.  Stunning and ornate engraving covers the outside of the locket, and beautiful golden tassels hang from the bottom of the piece, giving it some movement as it is worn.

This wonderful locket was likely worn to remember or show affection for a loved one with hair or a portrait kept in the locket compartment at the back.  Lyres were often depicted as symbols of hope or to reference heaven where they were played by cherubs.

Measuring 2.1cm x 2.1cm and weighing 6g, this is a substantial piece, that would be a wonderful heirloom.
