This is a truly fabulous antique pendant. Featuring a lion's face, with garnet eyes and a sparkling old cut diamond clutched between its teeth, this wonderful lion is crafted from 15ct Gold. The lion's mane is etched around the face of the lion through ornate engraving, which adds some additional texture to this stunning piece.
And not only does this pendant look wonderful hanging from a chain, it is also a locket! On its inside two empty compartments will carry a lock or hair or pictures of your loved ones.

It weighs a hefty 6.54g, and measures 2.5cm in diameter.

The Lion motif has long been used in jewellery to represent strength, courage, and majesty, so whether it be worn, kept as an investment or gifted as an heirloom, this sentimental pendant /locket will surely be treasured for years to come.

This locket is not hallmarked but has been tested for high carat gold. Its design and materials used point to the Art Nouveau era.
