Vintage, Hallmarked, 9ct Gold Emerald and Diamond, Ring

This is a really pretty, vintage emerald and diamond ring, hallmarked for London, 9ct Gold and 1975.   It also has its makers mark, BKT.

Crafted in 9ct Gold, this ring comprises a central bright emerald of approximately 15 points, and two further emeralds on each side, each approximately 10 points. Four tiny bright diamonds sit between the emeralds.  There is beautiful detailing to the ring's shoulders and both sides of the gallery, which is very slightly raised to allow these magical stones to catch the light.

The ring's face measures 18mm x 4mm and it weighs 2.5g.  It is currently a Uk size O, which is a US size 7 1.2.

This is a really good example of a classic and traditional engagement ring.  It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to wear.

Emeralds have long a symbol of spiritual awareness, protection, love, and wisdom. Ancient Romans and Greeks believed it to be the representative of the Goddess Venus. Hence, they perceived this gemstone as a conveyor of hope and love.
