Vintage, Hallmarked 18ct Gold, Diamond and Ruby Snake Ring, 3.65g

This is such a pretty and unique vintage snake ring. Crafted in 18ct gold, the head and neck of the snake are encrusted with 9 lively diamonds and two bright ruby eyes. The inside of the band is marked for 750 (18ct Gold).

This sweetheart ring carries a romantic sentiment; the two snakes represent eternal, everlasting love, loyalty and friendship.

This ring sits flat and comfortably on the finger and weighs 3.65g. It measures 9mm at its widest point on the face, and 4mm at its thinnest point at hte back of the band. It is a UK size M (US size 6 1/4)

Queen Victoria was an enthusiast of snake jewellery and had several pieces in her personal collection, notably her snake engagement ring from Prince Albert, which symbolised his everlasting love.
