Antique, Victorian Three Star, Gypsy Ring, Hallmarked 18ct Gold and Birmingham 1870

This is a classic three diamond starburst ring, on a tapered 18ct gold band.

Fully hallmarked for 18ct Gold, Birmingham, and the Victorian year, 1870, this antique ring is currently a size UK M 1/2, (USA Size 6 1/4) but it has a solid shank and could be made larger or smaller, up to around 3 sizes. 

The ring comprises three very lively sparkling diamonds; a central old cut and a rose cut on each side.  The shank tapers towards the back. At its largest point, the face measures approximately 7mm and at its thinnest point, it measures 3.5mm.  It weighs 4.51g.
