Here is a really lovely 9ct gold vintage ring, featuring a lustriuous and dreamy blue/grey natural moonstone cabochon.
This very pretty moonstone measures approximately 8mm x 8mm and the shank is currently a UK size S 1/2, which is a US size 9 1/4. It weighs 1.60g.
Moonstones have remained very popular since Victorian times, when they were thought to be a good luck stone. They were also linked to passion, and were offered as a gift between lovers.
