Rare, Antique, 10ct Gold Puffy Heart Padlock Clasp/Pendant

Set in 10ct gold, this rare and substantial antique padlock pendant is in full working order and opens and snaps shut nicely. It is plain on both sides save monogram (I think H &H) initials on the front, which are fairly worn. These could easily be polished out by your jeweller.

Antique and vintage jewellery is heavy in symbolism and such padlocks were usually given and worn as love tokens.

This is a great sized padlock, measuring 2.7cm x 2.5cm, remains in splendid condition, and is a good weight of 3.21g. This beautiful padlock's versitility means you can either slip it onto a split ring or charm bracelet, or wear as a pendant on a chain (see pictures)
