Vintage, 9ct Gold, Ruby Eyed Extendable Snake Bangle, Hallmarked 9ct Gold, Birmingham, 1976, 28.81g

This fabulous vintage snake bangle was such a wonderful find!  It features a coiled snake, (approximately 6.5 inches when stationary but completely extendable) with wonderful ruby eyes.

Its face and tail touch each other as they pass, and both include gorgeous snake skin detail on the head and tail, which adds some lovely texture.  These bangles usually have one coil, but this one goes round twice!

This bangle is completely extendable so it is extremely versatile, and can be worn on the wrist, middle arm, or the top of the arm.   

Weighing a heavy 28.81g this is a substantial piece of jewellery.  It is fully hallmarked for 9ct Gold, Birmingham and the year, 1976. 

This bangle is in excellent vintage condition with smooth links and no dents or dings.
