This is a really pretty, and quite unusual, heart-shaped locket crafted in 9ct gold (front and back).
Detailed foliate engravings surround the mother of pearl face which houses a single gold crucifix at its centre. The back of the locket is plain.
It opens up to two empty windows (frames are present and intact) for photographs of your own.
This gorgeous vintage locket, from the late 1940s, would look fabulous on a gold chain.
